Safety is a fundamental right; students must always feel physically, emotionally and psychologically safe. A safe environment creates a sense of trust and well being, where students can succeed academically and grow emotionally.
Professional training for all teachers, students and staff on how to identify and respond to unsafe and/ or abuse situations; (retraining is required on a semi annual basis)
Comprehensive security infrastructure, including installation of campus wide security cameras, with visibility requirements for all windows, doors and clinical offices, and GPS tracking on all vehicles
Communications protocols and systems for anonymous reporting and complaints
Behavioral based interviews and reference checks for all job candidates
